Gathering the groups

“Let me know what you think about Kilimanjaro and if you’d be up for it in Feb 2023”. That was just over a year ago in January 2022 when Beth messaged me. Back in 2016 I, along with 6 others, climbed Everest Base Camp. The aim was to create another small group to do Kili.

Friday. Friday feeling? Kind of I guess. It’s been a long couple of work weeks, not just due to working remote but a lot of things on. Most of those are complete as of today, so that’s a good feeling. But, as much as I can leave the second bedroom/office where I spend most of the week days there’s not much to do. We’re all in this obviously and it’s lucky I have a space away from living room and bedroom to work.

Started the day with a 9am call and yesterday was crazy at work as everyone seemed to start reacting to Coronavirus, so didn’t wake up early enough for a walk.
