Friday. Friday feeling? Kind of I guess. It’s been a long couple of work weeks, not just due to working remote but a lot of things on. Most of those are complete as of today, so that’s a good feeling. But, as much as I can leave the second bedroom/office where I spend most of the week days there’s not much to do. We’re all in this obviously and it’s lucky I have a space away from living room and bedroom to work.

We did go to the supermarket today at lunchtime, turned out not to be the best time to go as quite a few people had the same idea. By no means was it super busy but busy enough that it took extra effort to try and stay 6 feet away from everyone and not always possible. I also picked up another 2 player game from Target next door to the supermarket. Danielle certainly not coping so well with the ‘crowds’ of people amidst this situation. Don’t think she’s going to go outside for a while after this trip.

Good news is the supermarket offers mobile checkout so can just breeze through the lines at checkout and avoid touching shopping trolleys or baskets. Also stocked up enough for a good week and a half or so. We were looking at doing a grocery delivery with Wholefoods but they have no delivery spots available in the next few days.

Got tacos for dinner from our one of our favourite local restaurants, Street Taco. Made some homemade margaritas to go with them. I picked them up and appreciated that they had the food orders bagged up on the bar counter ready to be picked up without anything other than a thumbs up required. Heard from two friends today, both who I had been meaning to reach out to. They did it first, I need to get better at reaching out sooner.

Hannes, who I met in Central America a couple of years ago lives in Northern Italy, very close the border of Germany. And one of my best friends from England, Sam. It’s really nice to hear from these people, does make you think how NY coverage differs in other parts of the world. Not planning any bike rides this weekend.  Skype with the whole family tomorrow.
